les invita a participar por séptimo año consecutivo de esta apasionante maraton,
medio maraton y 10 kilometros en el "ombligo del mundo".
La ruta de esta
competencia sobre asfalto contempla la partida en el poblado de Hanga Roa para
dirigirse hacia la mitica playa de Anakena y volver por el mismo camino hacia
Hanga Roa.
Los cupos para esta
competencia estan reservados para sólo 150 competidores.

EASTER ISLAND MARATHON 2008
With sixth
successful races under its belt, the Easter Island Marathon is actively
seeking runners far outside its 63-square-mile island for its 2007 edition.
The fifth annual Easter Island Marathon, half-marathon and 10K is scheduled
for June 08, 2008. In addition, there is a Sprint Triathlon June 06 and a
Mountainbike race June 07.
"We had a strong
response from the islanders and mainland Chile in this past years," said Race
Director Rodrigo Salas. "The last six years we welcomed runners from around
the world." Around the world they will come but never in large numbers. Due to
limited air seats and hotel accommodations on the tiny island, the event must
cap its entries at 150.
